Getting a short morning list of what needs you today
An AI helper looks through your email, calendar and billing app before the day starts. It sends one short list of who is waiting, which bills are late and any calendar clash. It drafts replies, and you approve each one.
What it is
The helper reads the apps you connect, like email, calendar and billing. Each morning it sends you a short list of what needs you most.
Who it is for
It is built for owners who run the shop, answer the email and chase the bills all by themselves.
What you get
You get one short list each morning, plus drafts you can approve or change.
A real-life example
A woman runs a small cleaning company with four part-time workers. She often found out too late that a customer was waiting or a bill was overdue. Now a helper checks her email, calendar and billing app early and sends her a short note. One day it saw that two jobs were booked at the same time. She fixed it before her crew left the house.
This is a made-up scenario. It does not describe a real organization.
How it works
- You: Choose which apps the helper may read, like email, calendar and billing.
- You: Tell it what matters most to you, such as late bills and new customers.
- The AI: Looks across those apps each morning.
- The AI: Sends you a short list of what needs you today.
- The AI: Drafts replies and payment reminders for you to check.
- You: Read each draft, fix it if needed, and approve or skip it.
Time saved
Typical estimate
By hand: about 40 minutes each morning.
With AI: about 10 minutes, plus your review.
These are rough guesses, not measured results. Your own times will vary.
Sample output
Example Morning list
Good morning. Here is what needs you today. 1. Two jobs are booked at 9 am Thursday: the Hill home and the Lee office. Want me to offer the Lee office 1 pm instead? 2. Two bills are more than 30 days late: Oak Street Dental and Mr. Grant. I drafted short, friendly reminders. Please review. 3. A new customer, Rosa M., asked for a quote yesterday. No one has replied yet. A draft reply is ready. Nothing has been sent. Tap a draft to read it.

What it involves
- Tools / helper type
- An AI helper that can read your connected email, calendar and billing app. Claude Duet from Anthropic is one option (early test, waitlist, paid Claude Pro or Max plan, US only, no Microsoft 365 yet). Other helpers with email and calendar access can do this too.
- Rough effort
- Medium (Low = an afternoon or less; Medium = a few days with some setup; High = a project)
Who should look it over
You approve every email and reminder before it is sent. Do not connect accounts that hold card numbers, staff records or anything you would not show a new hire. Check your privacy settings, including whether your chats can be used to train AI. The helper checks every few hours, so urgent calls still need a person.
